Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi Hiravi's endowment for his wife's soul, 1887
Aqa Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi Hiravi endowed his four shares of the Saʻdabad farm in Sarjam village for taʻziyah of Imam Husayn and prayer for the soul of the mother of Mirza Masʻud Khan. After the death of the endower who will act as guardian of the endowment, the eldest male child and their male descendants shall act as the endowment's guardians. If there are no male offspring, the eldest female child and their descendants shall act as the endowment's guardians. 22 March 1887.

‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to Surur al-Saltanah, writing about the relationships of men and women in Europe, that Iranian men dismiss their own wives and look for love and pleasure outside of their marriage while it is different in Europe, as men and women love each other and they prefer to spend their time with each other rather than with others. However, this is not Iranians' fault either, as they sometime are married when they are five or six, without their personal choice. He then thanks God that Surur is a perfect mate and says that he truly loves her....

‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to his wife, Surur al-Saltanah, telling her that he was writing this letter in the middle of the night while she is either asleep or in mourning [for Tasu‘a] and is not thinking of him, yet Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk is only thinking of her even though it is Tasu‘a [the 9th day of Muharram] instead of mourning for Imam Husayn. He apologizes for not being able to come to the Rawzah and tells her that he will bring this letter himself tomorrow since he is going to see Fakham al-Saltanah, so that they would go to Sardar Hishmat together. Mashhadi Habib, the son of the late Husayn ‘Amu, appoints his younger brother, Ni‘mat, as the executor of his will and Karbalayi ‘Askar, the son of ‘Ali Pasha, as the overseer while he [Mashhadi Habib] travels to Karbalaʼ. They are responsible for giving ten mans [unit of area] of his share of a garden to his wife, Munavvar, as her mahr. A third of his belongings should be in Ni‘mat's hands for use on khums, the payment of his debts, ta‘ziyah, and charity.

Haji Mahdi Aqa the merchant from Salmas, the son of Haji ‘Abd al-Karim the merchant, has assigned his nephew, Haji Mirza Aqa Muhammad Riza the merchant, as the executor of his will and Haji ‘Ali Aqa the merchant as the overseer. Will of Iskandar Khan Sawlat al-Sultan, 1912
Will of Iskandar Khan Sawlat al-Sultan, who has appointed his brother, Habib Allah Khan Sultan, as the executor of the will, and his wife [Hajiyah Baygum Khanum], the daughter of Aqa Mirza ‘Abd al-Husayn, as the overseer. One-fifth of his belongings, including animals, household furnishings, clothing, and jewelry, goes to his wife as her mahr and other prerogatives. After deducting his debts, one-third of the remainings should be spent for his burial in Najaf, fasts and prayers, and charity. What remains will be divided among the inheritors.
